When refurbishment of the Business Bay offices was being planned, Luceco provided Dubai Properties with a lighting solution. Offering a 60% energy saving compared with conventional fluorescent fittings, Carbon LED downlight luminaires were utilised, providing glare free lighting to enhance the overall environment.
Existing fluorescent 2x26W downlights were replaced with 18W LED Carbon downlight luminaires, easily achieving the required lux levels. Offering over 35,000 hours of operation, this maintenance free luminaire solved difficult re-lamping issues caused by the high ceiling.
Carbon Downlights are an ideal replacement for compact fluorescent downlights, offering running cost savings of up to 60%. Designed to retrofit ceiling cut outs of common compact fluorescent downlights, the Carbon is also supplied with interchangeable bezel options.
With enhanced lighting levels achieved and a return on investment less than 3 years, Dubai Properties were delighted with the end result.
