Electrolux launched its first vacuum cleaner in 1912 and today sells more than 50 million products to customers in more than 150 markets every year. The company is ranked as the world’s second-largest appliance manufacturer producing efficient, high-performance electrical goods helping consumers reduce their carbon footprint.
Fernando Avila from Luceco, with local distributors Grainger, have been assisting Electrolux in Juárez City in reducing their carbon footprint.
Electrolux have used 27W T5 LED lamps from Luceco to replace traditional fluorescent 54W T5 HO lamps. A total of 4,100 lamps were replaced, creating an energy saving of 50% and an estimated annual financial saving of USD $97,000.
LED lamps from Luceco can provide an ideal retrofit solution for many industrial plants using traditional lamps, providing ease of replacement for the user and energy savings with minimal installation cost.
