Newhaven Academy’s main aim is to provide an aspirational teaching and learning experience where pupils understand how to make progress in a creative learning environment.
The facility has been attractively designed with practical light and colourful spaces to encourage learning and includes a recently completed new lighting installation using energy saving LED 17W Backlit LuxPanels from Luceco.
LuxPanels are supplied with remote ‘plug and play’ drivers and are available in standard fixed output, dimmable and emergency options. Quick and easy to install with no maintenance requirements and no visible frame when installed in the ceiling grid, the high efficiency LuxPanels from Luceco have the additional benefit of 13% extra visible light when compared with other LED panel luminaires.
Installed by Rawfield Electrical Services – Hull, the design included the LuxPanels being used in corridors and recreational areas, proving the flexibility of this luminaire suiting many applications in an educational environment.
