NEW FROM LUCECO: LUXBAY, A HIGH LEVEL LED LUMINAIRE AND ALTERNATIVE TO TRADITIONAL HID AND T5 LAMPS.
New from Luceco is the LuxBay, a high level LED luminaire. Suitable for mounting between 4 – 6 metres, the LuxBay is designed as an alternative to traditional HID and T5 lamp, high level luminaires. Applications include DIY and retail, industrial environments, sports halls and warehouses. The LuxBay boasts 105 Luminaire Lumens per watt, and variants include 100, 150 and 200 watts, all with either a wide or narrow clear lens, offering over 50,000 hours of operational life.
Environmentally friendly, with no warm up time to produce 100% light output and no maintenance over its lifetime, the LuxBay offers a cost effective alternative to traditional luminaires.
When considering a typical racking aisle of 40 metres in length, 2.5 metres wide and 10 metres high, there is a massive 55% energy saving using 4 x 200W LED LuxBays from Luceco, when compared to 4 x 400W Metal Halide low bay luminaires with rack reflectors. When compared with 4 x 4 80W T5 fluorescent multi-lamp luminaires with rack reflectors, there is still an attractive 40% energy saving by using the new LuxBay.
Mounting positions include surface, trunking or suspended and there are options of integrated presence and daylight sensors for use with fixed output or dimmable control gear as well as an integral emergency variant. Attachments include flat wired guards and polycarbonate clear diffusers.
